The Pontiac Southern Nationals took its toll on the Arkansas Pontiac Assciation. We returned with two banged up cars, one trophy and a lot of nice memories. Bruce Rhoads endured an accident with his trailer that put a few dents in his quarter panel. Chris Ritter had some trouble loading his car to come home and chipped up the paint on the front end. John Ramey found a new addition for his stable of Pontiacs. Jonathan Lobb got to visit with his Grand Prix Club friends. Read your next newsletter for full details and click on the photo above for all the pictures.
Several club members attended the first ever Quitmanfest car show. It was a monster of a show with an estimated 350 cars attending. That's the kind of turnout you get when you offer a $7,000.00 cash payout in prize money. Anyone want to donate that much to us for our charity car show in September? Enjoy the photos here.
We are having our meetings on the third Sunday of the month at the Aerospace Museum starting at 2:00 p.m. (See the Meetings link to the left) After that we have our cruise in from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Sonic Drive In on Stagecoach Road (highway 5). We're stepping things up some this year with a Car Hop's and Club Choice award along with door prizes. Tell your friends to come join us for an evening of classic cars. The Cruise Ins keep on coming. The last one was well attended and the slots filled up fast. The way this thing is going we'll need a Wal-Mart parking lot soon. Enjoy the pictures we took here.
