New to area

I've recently relocated to the Arkansas area from the North East. I'm looking for advice on the best mechanics in the area for a classic car since I don't know anyone. Recommendations?

Man, tough first post.

No one wants to recommend a shop in case you get screwed and then blame them. I don't think anyone's being unfriendly here, they're just scared to comment.

What kind of car are we talking about?

I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble (least of all me ). I just figured if there was someone who stands out head and shoulders above the rest, I'd give them a look-see. Met a team the other week from a local place and they're nice enough guys, so it's no biggie . I thought I'd expand my horizon as I meet people. Just looking for information, that's about it. Thanks for posting.

Oh, yeah... the car... it's a 2001 Superformance Shelby Cobra with a "Class 2" 351W.

Well, in that case, we will have to send you to the worst mechanic we know. We can't have those Fords beating us up all the time.

I have to ask if you've found the 'Stang Gang forums yet? They're pretty active and local. They might be a great resource for you. There's a link to them in clubs part of our links page.

I toured this shop as a guest of the River Valley Mustang Club.
Very nice.
They did a 1966 Mustang Fastback for a friend of mine that has appeared (and trophied) at a few shows in the Little Rock area. It can be viewed under the "completed cars" tab in the page header.
