APA Christmas Party

Postby raybs » Fri Dec 05, 2008 10:35 am

Reminder: The APA Christmas Party is this Saturday evening (5:30 PM) at the Ray's. I've sent directions out via email, but PM me (or email) if you need me to resend. BTW, I hear Dirty Santa is back in town.

I know nothing about Dirty Santa. I have nothing but the finest gifts for my fellow APA comrades.

As for Bambi, didn't she work the Platinum Club over in Memphis for a while? :frogwink:

It was a hoot. The food was great and the company was better. It's hard to explain to anyone how much fun we have and it's just because we've all become such great friends through this club.

I don't think Marshall is going to give the Tiger hat back next year.:mrgreen::mrgreen:

Yup, we had fun...even after the gift exchange :gift:was over, I threw on Smokey & the Bandit and got the Critter narration at no cost

And yes the tiger hat really went to the right person - though if he wears it in the Bonne, he'll need a tie-down to keep it on!

He could always wrap a scarf around it and tie it on like those women in the old pioneer movies used to do. That would be a good look. :wilting

Jackie Gleason had so many great ad lib lines and Hal Needham made sure Burt's dialog was taken care of. I believe Jerry Reed was originally cast as the Bandit but when Burt wanted to do it Needham re-cast Reed as the Snowman. The rest is history.

Nice matching suits. It must have been a bitch to get a 69 Extra Fat and a 12 Dwarf.
