He turns 16 on Apr 13th - the day after Easter. We may just take the Grand Prix and he can borrow a helmet and he can run the autorcross with me in the car (and vise-versa of course).

We registered 124 today despite the rain. If we can do that with the rain coming down it makes you wonder how many we might have had in the dry? Thanks to all the APA members who worked so hard and thanks to all who came out to support us despite the rain. We did some good for the kids today. Be proud of yourselves.

I hope we didn't work you too hard today. I'm sorry I didn't visit with you more but now you've experienced a show day with us so you know how it goes. It's noses down and elbows up for us all day long.

We finished the show today so we have some breathing room between now and Street Machine Nationals. I NEED and autocross and drag race day now. Besides, Taylor gave up driving school at autocross for us. We have to get that boy and Eric Ray out to kill some cones soon!

Cara, you are a lock for that job next year. You and Eric did a great job of keeping things rolling for us in the judging headquarters.

Got to say it was an awesome show! When you get 124 cars to show up when its raining then your doing something right! I was worried because I have seen shows have 20 cars on a rainy day. It was smooth and no one complianed at all. I had 3 people come up and shack my hand and tell me how much they enjoyed us putting on the show. No wonder everyone wants the pontiac club to put on there show! Cant wait to see some pics chris!!! All I can say is what a day!!!!

Very good turnout, especially considering the circumstances. Was gonna drag the Z down (not to show) since the weather was perfect for it, but wouldn't ya know the battery was dead :x

I showed up late, saw Critter busy with the awards stuff, so I let him be

BTW, Critter: My ban was lifted, right? :P

LOL. Yes, Dave you're back in it now. Statuate of limitations and all that. ;)

I wondered if you were there. Of course it was all a blur for me again.

OK, everybody say after me, better weather next year.

It was busy, but I enjoyed doing something to benefit the effort it was good knowing the Children would benefit from every burger sold and every car registered. I barely got to walk the show field before it was over myself and everyone was running around, but it was good to talk over some of the best Pizza I've ever had, I learned some stuff from Marty in between loading more beef on the grill too... it was wonderful time, tiring but fun too. Oh saving the duck was kinda neat too. I thought the lady was gonna hug me afterward.

The drive home was fun.... 7 deer dodged, 1 rabbit hit by a car coming came sliding into my lane.... just had to strattle it ... and it made it no thumps!...Oh and 1 Redneck in a Hemi Dodge PU in Monticello :bat::sneaky2:.... Oh gotta admit Daniel schooled me on the on-ramp to 430 on the way home, man that little yellow car sticks good..... :dizzy:

Autocross April 5th ?

I can't do it on the 5th. My son and his new bride will be in Jonesboro so we're driving up to see them. We owe Taylor a day out there so you guys go and have fun!

Oh, and good job on the hemi boy. I had one doing the same thing to me on the Arkansas River bridge the other day. I was in Tammy's Solstice. I was thinking "give me a break, you've got twice the number of cylinders that I do". Nothing like picking on the little kid at school unless the little kid jumps up and whips your butt.

Had a great time again as always, great people, great times. Chris, Brandy said I could never drive your car again b/c she's never gonna see me on the weekends again b/c it motivated me to get mine going :hurray:.

Glad you mading it home with no deer killed. Yeah, that's what I like about this car you just point the wheel where you wanna go and it goes without complaning . I wish that car wouldn't been in front of me on 40, it would've been nice to wind it up with ya beside me, your's sounded real good going by though 8).

Daniel, come on by when you need a fix. I'll throw you the keys. I'll also get that stinking neutral lockout adjusted soon so we don't go through the no start thing again. Sorry about that.

I swapped the Qjet back on for the show, anticipating raising the hood. The rain stopped that. You need to drive it with my Demon on it. You'd like it.
