If you have already committed to work this event, thank you! If you want to help out, come on down (Sat morning help is always welcome)! boo-yah

It starts tomorrow at 10 am and runs until 5 pm. Then the big part of Big Cruisefest hits on Saturday morning. The event is scheduled from 10 am - about 8:30 pm, but we'll be there by around 6:30 am to set up and get ready. Hot Rod Legends George Barris and Norm Grabowski will be on hand to sign autographs and, in Norm's case, hit on cute girls! :sneaky:George will have his original Batmobile from the 60's TV series, and no one knows what Norm is bringing! 8)Last year we had just over 200 cars, but the year before had over 400 (better economy).

APA cars will be parked right near the entrance so you won't miss us (though try to miss hitting the cars...) crackwhip

Well, it was cold but dry at the River Market today. I hope it'll be a little warmer tomorrow. I think around 100 cars came out today, despite the less than favorible weather - though it was better than Thursday! It should be a big crowd tomorrow. There are definitely some nice rides - some that I haven't seen either.

I'll go ahead and predict 400 cars. See you in the morning.

I had a great time !!!
It was good to see everyone and talk about cars most of the day.

There were some really nice cars to look at today too !!!!

Sorry we had to leave early, but Justin has been looking forward to going to that coach for a while.
It was a good time. The guy was really good, corrected 4 or 5 things he was doing wrong 1 that could have caused him to hurt himself so that made the fee worth it right there !

Do you know what the count was?

I don't think there ever was an "official" count yesterday. Every time we tried to free someone up to count them another problem would come up and distract us. My best guess is between 200-300 cars.

Sorry. I'll try to update the web site soon. I've been slammed at work and am leaving town on business in the morning.

OK, pics are up now.

As for the backhoe, the word is that they ran out of money for that project so there it sets. WTH were they thinking?

See that there is a CITR scheduled for Nov 13th (I was thinking that BCF was the last of the year), but with "Location to be announced?"

Nope, there's always one last cruise in. That's when we give our check to ACH. It will be at the River Market.
